New Chevy!

Yee Haw!!! This is MINE, all mine!!!! Heh, heh, heh! Baby Brother Mel and I went truck shopping last Thursday, June 7, in Whitesboro and Sherman. We found this "keeper" in Sherman at Ramey Chevrolet-Cadillac on Highway 75. (I traded-in my 1990 Chevy Silverado one-ton flatbed--Big Red--for it). It is NOT what we were looking for; that's the funny part. We were looking for a red or black color, a 2-wheel drive, a short bed, and a gasoline engine. But this one caught Mel's eye, and it didn't take me more than a heartbeat to be right there with him. So, what do we have here? This is a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 4-wheel drive, 4-door, 2500 HD (3/4 ton Heavy Duty) TRUCK. It has a Duramax diesel engine, with an Allison transmission (the best!), running boards, Rhino lining in the bed, diamond-plate bed rails, AND one of my favorite things, KICK-ASS bumpers both front and back, in black diamond-plate, of course. The interior is a dark grey; the cloth seats are a lighter grey; and it all looks/smells like brand-new. The A.M/F.M Stereo radio/CD player tells me what song is playing, who sings it, and which station I am on. Too cool! On Friday we went shopping at TSC and got a premium aluminum, black diamond-plate, tool box, and some necessities to go in it. Anyone want a ride? I'm still trying to name him. Yes, him. Melvin thinks he's a "Max" because he's a Duramax, but Andrew thought he was a "Bear," to which Melvin said, "If you're gonna be a "Bear," (you gotta) be a "Big Bear." What do you think? "Big Bear" or "Max"? Let me know! P.S. "Big Bear" sorta goes with my dog, "Big B" (Big Boy).
